BHIM Cent UPI is a mobile application that is developed by the Central Bank of India (CBI) for its customers. It is an integrated payment system wherein the customers can pay their beneficiaries using UPI and collect money. The customers need to install the app, register with the bank, and link their accounts.
The key elements of the app are:
UPI registration - Customers need to register with the bank and link their accounts. This can be done using their UPI account number or UPI mobile number.
Virtual Payment Address - This is an abstract representation of the customer's account. It is used to make payments to the payee, and it remains confidential. The virtual address does not have to be a physical address. The customers can use their UPI accounts to pay their beneficiaries.
Pay Request - Customers need to select the payee and the amount. They can also select the payment type, such as debit, credit, or cash transfer.
